Good food options for dinner, friendly staff. Good beach nearby. Nice room. Close to Maafushi Island for day trip. Not too far from Male airport.

The service was fantastic. The waitresses were super friendly and kind. The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. They were nice and bright with a nice view. We were able to arrange some amazing trips while we stayed there. A short walk brings you to Bikini Beach. It's only a 30 minute boat ride from the airport in Male.

Amazing experience! Gulhi is a beautiful small island and Ayala Ocean view is located beautifully just a minutes walk from the jetty. From connecting with us prior to our arrival to dropping us off at the airport and everything in between was well coordinate — the staff and management were absolutely the friendliest, supporting and most caring. This hotel opened up only a few months ago, the facility is clean, wi-fi is good and overall safe for single or group travelers. The bikini beach is only a minutes walk from the hotel and if you ask, the hotel will also give a free snorkeling gears. Also, if you need to get your PCR test done, there’s a hospital within the island, if you inform the hotel reception they will coordinate and help You get the test done. Gulhi is inhabited by laid back and welcoming locals. You can walk around the island uninterrupted. We would recommend Gulhi for solo, group or family travel. Overall this has been one of our best travel experiences so far.
