Vista Potrero - Hotel, Camping & Events

The mountains were amazing. Also, it was perfect for our dog who played with dogs that live there.

1. There is not a sign for the property. We drove around trying to figure out where it was. Plus, they changed the name so locals had no idea. 2. The restaurant was not open. We had to get back in the car and look for a place. No coffee, no cups, no tissue. 3. Some of the guests chose to party well into the night. Very rude since we had to get up early. 4. Had to open the gate ourselves to leave in the morning; good thing it wasn’t locked.

Stunning location very cool if you love nature and hiking, make sure to bring your own car as this is pretty secluded.

We love Vista Potrero! Its close into the gates to EPC. The breakfasts are delicious, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and then local pups are so cute. The rooms are spacious and you really cannot beat the views.

It was such a lovely place to stay! The lady running it was so kind. She made us a delicious breakfast each morning. It was a pretty cool place to hang out after a long day of climbing.

As close as you can get to the crag at EPC! Location was amazing. The free daily breakfast is homemade eggs and beans with fresh tortillas, cooked to order - a great way to kick off a day of climbing. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice. We had a few issues with our room and staff corrected them immediately which was awesome. Balconies have great views of the mountains. Walkable to nearby restaurants. The hotel offers a shuttle van for airport pickups and rides back to Monterrey for a great price.

The bathrooms were probably as nice as you'll find as in the area but the strong mildew smell was a little tough.
