Tessa's on the Beach

Reception was in a lovely bar area. The greeting from the lady on duty was very welcoming. When she learnt we are getting married next week she offered us complimentary cocktails! I saw her next morning when I was having a swim in the beautiful salt water pool and she was just as friendly. The decor was simply lovely. It had the feeling of a small, boutique resort with plenty of sun lounges and the beach was just through the front gate!

Very little not to like. Although everything was beautifully clean, I would recommend the occasional bleaching of the grouting in the bathroom. Aircraft noise at nearby Coolangatta Airport wasn't too bad and had a curfew.

No real cutlery which made it jard to bring takeaway etc back to the room

Beautiful location and great facilities! Rooms were very clean, functional and stylish!

I booked 2 rooms (17&18) and stayed with 3 guests in each. Each room was advertised for 3 guests (1 king/queen bed and 1 sofa bed). Unfortunately, both sofa beds were quite uncomfortable and there was no linen or extra towels provided for the third guest. We realised after reception had closed, so they were not able to assist. I would recommend only staying with 2 guests, supplying extra bed linen, blanket and towel for the third guest and possibly a comfier sofa bed.

Water pressure in shower was poor, drainage in hand basin was poor.
