RS Boutique Suites - City Place

A great unit, great location for what we needed.

I had a very disappointing stay at RS boutique suites. My code to enter the building didn’t work and we had to get the security guard to let us in, the coffee maker didn’t work, there were multiple aspects of the property in disrepair (panels missing from the blinds so you couldn’t change or sleep in past sunrise in the master bedroom, living room carpet was permanently curled up in one corner and cause me and another family member to trip, scratched up entertainment stand, multiple stains to the sinks), there were no top sheets on the beds, hard lumpy pillows and there was no conditioner or moisturizers in the room (they say free toileteries provided in their amenities section). There was no easy way to connect with someone from the management team to have these issues addressed. I emailed them about getting some conditioner (I flew into to Toronto for 24hrs to attend a funeral and just wanted to wash my hair after a long flight so I would be presentable for the ceremony) they told me they would get right back to me…24hrs later and still no answer. Also the $40 fee for “early” check in at 2PM (they refuse to do earlier) is enraging. I would not stay here again.

Great place close to everything downtown. Place could use a bit of maintenance. Overall great experience!

Great locale and communication from the property manager was A . Slight hiccup when booking from Expedia - There is an automated e-mail system that requests pre check-in details, this caused double charges on my credit card. Calling the property cleared this up as they reversed the charges. Unit was mostly well kept but some furniture items were outdated and worn. TV was limited (no cable and mirroring provided for Samsung products). These are the only things that kept it from a perfect 5 star rating. Would stay again and would recommend still.

Very nice place and excellent location

Our stay was overall good. The unit was clean, organized, and equipped with the amenities stated. A few things we were not fond of were the temperature wasn't really regulated by the thermostat cause no matter what it was set, the temp stayed the same. The elevators were a hassle cause it takes a while especially trying to get back up from the main floor. Our key fob would not let us go to our floor parking level so we had to take the stairs a few times. Despite all that, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was spacious, and the interior design was tasteful.
