The Herring House

Apartment had all facilities including a washer and dryer. Host is super nice and friendly. Breakfast. Hot tub. Amazing views of the mountains and lake.

Beds were a little too soft but seems like a norm in a lot of the Icelandic hotels. Shower pressure was a bit low.

Once we finally got there, we really thought it was a special experience.

The parking and taking luggage to the cabin was a little inconvenient.....many steps and rough terrain were a little challenging. Finding out that the showering was either outdoors or in another building was also a bit of a surprise. No matter what, we still enjoyed the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Herring House. Ms. Helga, our host, has kept the guest house in an impeccable condition. Cozy rooms, clean bathrooms, good kitchenette, nice hot tubs facing the mountains, lovely surroundings. Absolutely fantastic property. Ms. Helga also guided us on things to do, in Siglufjordur, and was very approachable and helpful. On a side note, Siglufjordur is probably one of the most beautiful towns I have seen. I would definitely want to come to this town again, and stay at The Herring House, when I am looking to stay for a few days to destress myself.

Helga was one of the nicest ladies we met in Iceland. She was very accommodating to my son and I. She welcomed us to her beautiful property.

Cosa vuoi dirgli, tutto perfetto e curata nei minimi dettagli. Noi abbiamo pernottato nella struttura e non nelle casette, ma tutto bello comunque.

Assenza di cucina purtroppo, altrimenti sarebbe davvero il top…
