Melina Apartments

We stayed as a family of four in these apartments in Chania and were very satisfied! The location is excellent: the sea is just 50 meters away, and the city center is only a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the promenade, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere. The apartments were clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and bathroom. There are two air conditioners, which is very important during the summer. The elevator is small (for two people), but it wasn’t an issue. Check-in was self-service, everything went smoothly without any contact with the staff. Breakfast is not provided, but there are many nice places nearby where you can enjoy good food.

The only downside is the lack of private parking. In the evenings, it sometimes took up to 30 minutes to find a spot on nearby streets. However, this didn’t significantly affect our overall experience. The proximity to the sea and the comfort of the apartments left us with only positive impressions. A great option for a stay in Chania!

Établissement très bien placé. A 10min à pieds du centre de La Canée. Le chemin vers le centre est en bord de mer, avec des restos et des bars très sympas. Le logement est bien équipé et propre. Bonne literie. Bon rapport qualité prix

Quelques soucis d’insonorisation de la cage d’escalier et dans la salle de bain. Le logement est un peu sombre car il donne sur la cour intérieure (et un peu de vis à vis de l’hôtel voisin)

Location location and quiet flat at ground floor

We stayed for a week and the flat was not cleaned at all. Very nice cleaning staff, very polite, they gave us towels when I asked for some more. but they could have cleaned the bathroom at least. We bought our own detergents to keep the toilet fresh and clean. At other places, this year in Crete, the cleaners knock on your door and ask if you want cleaning. Apart from that, the flat is fine.

Great location, nice view, convenient apartment, everything we needed was there (2 adults and 2 children), 30 seconds walk from the beach. Loved it

Vacuum cleaner is needed for self use due to all the sand coming back from the back 😅

Appartement très bien placé, juste en face de la plage. Vraiment pratique avec les enfants! Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Mélina Apartments. Merci pour l’eau mis à disposition, ainsi que les petits croissants et les cafés pour le petit déjeuner.

The flat is 15min walk away from the old town, and there are a lot of restaurants around.

Appartamento nuovo con tutti i confort dalla lavatrice ai giochi da tavolo al kit per cucire...davvero c'è di tutto anche in climatizzatore per ogni stanza con tutto in stile molto moderno. L host ci ha fatto anche trovare il succo di frutta in frigo, diciamo che ci sanno fare...ah dimenticavo anche l ascensore!

L hotel si trova a 50m dalla baia di kuan, vero è che ho prenotato l'appartamento con vista mare laterale...ma per i soldi spesi credevo che fossimo un po' più centrali e che si vedesse di più il mare. L'appartamento è ai confini della zona pedonale di un tratto che è a circa 800m dalle mura del porto antico, si fa a piedi ma mi aspettavo che fossimo più centrali e di poter vedere il mare...
