No cold water, one coat hanger, poor tea and coffee facilities which were not replenished after day one, no housekeeping, noise level of staff on mobile phones in early hours and then after having to get dressed to go out to complain the same staff member proceeded to go outside our window and argue with his girlfriend at 3.30am - no apologies, no hand towels, old rickety furniture, neither bathroom fan or mirror light working - even at a low cost was not worth the money - upon checking out zero acknowledgement from the reception guy

First room they gave me hag the heating set at 27dec C in a heatwave. They couldn’t turn it off so gave another room which turned to have been used by someone else before I got there.
GBThe staff were expecianally attentive , did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. When i arrived at the hotel and was shown a room that didn't fit my requests so I was very disappointed and upset . But the staff immediately organised another room for me also a better room for the following day . Thanks so much .All the time made sure i was comfortable . I am grateful to the staff at the Albany Hove for their support & care . The location is excellent with a short walk from shops ,bars , restaurants ,the beach, hove railway station & other public transports.
The hotel & the rooms are very clean . But it's fairly dated building and in need of updating . The TV & kettle didn't work . The plumbing needs to be updated too.
DEGBThe staff were very nice,because I checked in,I got one bedroom,it didn't have tap in the bathroom,so I couldn't take a shower,I went straight to reception,and the staff helped me to change bedroom immediately. Because it was very warm ,i infromed,i didn't get a fan in my bedroom, they brought one fan to my bedroom immediately as well.Supposed check out time was 10am,they let me checked out at 12pm.they got it how to sort me.

A fair amount of sorting out needed on arrival. First room reeked of cigarettes and tv didn’t work/no internet. Second room kettle and shower door broken. Shower poor. Carpets in corridors desperately need replacing. Felt expensive for what it was. Staff seem aware of need to renovate though.
