Hostik Hostal

This is probably the most beautiful hostel I have stayed in. Amazing courtyard, Carribean modernist spaces, beautiful plants, nice little pool, all in great taste. Very nicely thought out spaces. What is outstanding is the owners' dedication to making this a communal space, incl organisation of small free events to bring guests together. Super helpful staff. Breakfast seems ornamental but is really enough.

Private rooms have no storage space, and nothing to hang e.g. towels on. No mosquito nets, and the rooms get either stale aired or filled with mosquitos.

The reception and the bar are fancy. The sport center La Plancha is on the side of the hostel. The residential area surrounding is very nice.

The contract you must sign is a tourist trap, in the way you'll pay extras fees or fines. Don't sign. Go elsewhere. The breakfast included is very cheap (water melon, white rice , ceviche). Kitchen opens at 12:00, at checkout time. The frig is like a dump. The hostel is far from the center. In dormitories, close to the bed, no light, no USB or electrical plug. I have made a reservation of 7 days, I left after one night. The manager refused to refund me a part, I asked only half. He said that I have signed the contract, the famous tourist trap. It's easy to find better close to the central park.

De locatie was top! Vele restaurants omringen de hostel, en op 2min ligt een groot park om in te ontspannen. De hostel is zeer proper, ruim en rustig. De bar is gezellig en een pluspunt wanneer je bij de accommodatie iets wilt drinken of eten.

Buena ubicación, instalación y personal en general...

Me tengo que cambiar de hostal, estaré más días, pero el señor de la barra es muy payaso, se llama Victor, se ha portado super raro y me ha hecho sentir incómodo... Pues me corrió de la barra, y estaba consumiendo... Por otro lado tampoco me sirvió el vino bien... Me dió menos a pesar q le comenté la medida correcta... Le dije que mirara en Youtube y se ofendió, le he hablado en buena onda... Se enojo también de que fuera a la clase de yoga, creo q quería tomarla a solas con la chica, pero lo ví muy molesto conmigo en general... La verdad es que he venido cada año... Ya llevo viniendo como 4 años y bueno... Se me hace una persona con sentimiento encontrados fuera de lugar... Por eso continuaré mi estancia en otro lugar... Favor de no comentar todo esto pues estaré en la ciudad y no quiero problemas... Se lo comparto únicamente al alto management administrativo...
