Preferred hotel when coming to Beaufort. Nice spacious rooms, easy access and uncomplicated booking. Walkable to restaurants, shops and attractions.

Liked the room and bathroom even though there was only one small soap bar.Comfortable bed. Check-in was very frustrating requiring us to call the emergency no. which cost me $15. Also we weren't able to fathom the TV. Not familiar with Roku and there was no one to ask except other guests who told us they too had frustrations with TV.

My wife an I tend to visit this area at least once a month. Having found this property it is naturally our go to. Will be scheduling another stay this week for the future

I was a little weary of a self check in hotel. But it was a smooth process. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. They had thought of everything!

Very impersonal. Everything is done via your phone (you can’t even get inside without an access code texted to you). So you better be tech proficient. Nobody to greet you, etc. I got a queen room, but it had no mini fridge. When I emailed them ( you have to do everything by email - no people here to help you), about this I was told that I could have a room with a fridge for $25 additional. I thought that this was ridiculous since I already paid $180 for the room I was in. I won’t be back!

I had a king room reserved but email reply for payment was sent to my spam! I missed it and had to reserve on Expedia! On Expedia it’s very difficult to make changes! After several calls/emails I was able to cancel one night. Staff restocked supply closet which was awesome!

Great area to walk, shop, eat etc

Nice room with great shower. Very cool concept, mini hotel with a small lobby and no staff. There are nice extra touches, like a bottle of wine, great coffee in the lobby with real half and half and free water bottles. They also have a guest closet just in case you forgot something. The rooms are stylish and the bed was comfortable.

Emerald is a beautiful place to stay in. The staff’s are amazing. We had one incident of noise but was taken care off immediately. One other thing we request is update the mattress and add darkening curtains to the all windows and doors. Thank you.

Close to downtown shopping and dining. Room was very clean and safe. Staff responded quickly to questions via text messaging.
