We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a renewal of our wedding vows in the grounds of this beautiful historic villa with our children and grandchildren it was absolutely perfect. The villa is wonderful plenty of room inside with a large dining room and kitchen with all that you need to self cater. A fabulous swimming pool and the grounds are kept beautifully clean, with a large BBQ and outside dining area. It’s a great location quiet but plenty of local restaurants and the sea is a 20 min walk away. The Owner Labros was extremely kind and helpful and always there if we had a question and even brought us some traditional almond bread to try!

We were 6 adults (3 couples) staying at Casa Maravillosa for four nights The location of the villa is excellent. It is 3 km from the airport, 1.5 km from the beach, in a charming little village. The villa is beautiful, renovated, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There are two large master bedrooms (with shower & toilet) on the lower floor of the house, (with separate entrances), not directly connected to the upper part of the living room and the other bedrooms. On the main floor above, there is a huge and well-equipped living room and kitchen as well as an additional shower and toilet. . On the upper floor (above the living room & kitchen) the 3 rooms are with a sloping roof (attic), there are three bedrooms with two separate beds and each room has a separate bathroom and toilet. Outside there is a nice pool, a large table and a barbecue area outside for ten people. The owner of the house, Labros, is an excellent host. He welcomed us warmly, left us a bottle of delicious white wine and mineral water and gave explanations and recommendations for trips on the island. Labros answered every question and we received a wonderful treatment from him. Magical place. Highly recommended. We hope we would have a chance to come back again.

This is a beautiful house in a very nice location and the hosts could not have done more to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Very good communication. I was worried that the proximity to the airport would be a problem but it really was not. The house is stunning, large rooms with AC in every room. The gardens are immaculate and the pool area is perfect for relaxing.

We fully enjoyed the meticulously landscaped grounds. The complete privacy, even amongst ourselves, the estate is so l arge, we were not on top of each other, and there were 12 of us, plus 2 babies. Labros, the owner, was so kind and thoughtful. He brought us Greek sweets and homemade cheese pie. We felt truly relaxed and enjoyed our time there. We will be back again!

The solitude and beauty of the grounds are unparalleled.

The villa is incredible. Very beautiful house, with all you need. The surrounding is peaceful. Labros is a great host and available for anything you need. We were 4 families with kids and there was a lot of space and hidden spots for all of us. Rooms are spaceous and well maintaned. The architecture of the place speeks for itself. One of the best vilas we have ever been to.

Everything great. Maybe just one water sink needed near the BBQ place, and it would of be perfect.

The villa was a beautifully restored listed building finished to high specifications. It was characterful and comfortable and suited our mixed group of two young families and grandparents. The mature garden , al fresco dining area/ bbq and pool with enough sun loungers for everyone ensure it was a relaxing holiday for all. We would definable like to return here as Kefalonia was fabulous and the villa was a perfect base to explore from. Labros was a perfect host , responding quickly to questions and we really enjoyed his secret recipe cheese pie and the brioche type bread he kindly brought us .

I can honestly say this was the most incredible property we have ever stayed in, as a listed building it is a true piece of history - as well as having every modern appliance you could need!

We stayed in this fabulous villa as a group of eleven celebrating our 40th birthday. It was fantastic. The location is ideal and the villa is stunning. The host was extremely kind and helpful and even brought round a cheese pie!

The property was unique with a history linked to kefalonia. Hence a chapel office and lots of original features. Poolside was lovely and the outside matched the beauty of the interior eating social space. Ideally suited for two families. Gardens maintained with pomegranate olive and fig trees. The pool is well maintained. Changing of linen regularly done by a lovely woman. Excellent location and easy access to the rest of the island. It was great to visit the fish market in Argostoli. Visited Spiros taverna a lot, extremely friendly and accommodating. Say hello from Ian and Dave if you go. Plenty of supermarkets with a car Aldi not good, small shop Sagittarius down road from Spiros is good.
