Wyncliffe Hideaway

Lovely location...lovely shepherds hut..peaceful..luxury bedding, very comfortable bed. Equipment to a high standard and lovely soft towels. Apart from TV and micro it had everything needed. Lovely touch for wine/milk welsh cakes on arrival. Highly recommend but book via owner.

Problems getting in but that was booking.com fault. If owner is going to he abroad an alternative contact would be helpful. A TV and small microwave would be helpful. Recommendation page in folder for people to suggest restaurants etc and for owner to point out shops etc as the only supermarket is not in the main street and took awhile to find.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The hut is so cosy and well equipped. The bed was super comfy and it was lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound of the birds. It has everything you need for a good stay and the location is fantastic, secluded with lovely views, peace and quiet, but only a very short walk into town. We hope to return again one day!

Everything was perfect, fresh towels of all sizes, hot and cold water, lots of storage, although it was too warm to use the wood fire it’s such a nice touch, there was everything you’d need for washing/cleaning, tea and coffee etc and even little Welsh cakes, fresh milk and some wine. Very bumpy road in/out - but… you’re in Wales, what do you expect?!

I couldn't be happier with my choince of this place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with winę and some sweets. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and tranquility. The amenities exceeded my expectations, providing everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ambiance was inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Location and the quality of the accommodation

The weather - although it did stop raining a few times!

The location is amazing, an easy walk to the Cathedral and the small city centre. The hideaway has everything you could need and was very clean. Wine, milk and welshcakes were provided.

The bed was very soft, but might suit others better. The tiny kitchen means that cooking full meals is rather difficult. My 6'2" husband found it all rather a squeeze!
