Sehr schade!

The directions are not clear for guests arriving after sundown. Google coordinates would be best. Also after almost an hour of searching I found the very small green sign that said Wunder Camp before the Domes sign. However, I never checked in bc upon arriving the mud was so sticky and thick around camp due to heavy rainfalls this past week. I understand the weather and nature, but maybe applying gravel, sand, or wood chips on paths? I even paid the additional pet fee, but I didn’t want to deal with my pet even stepping in the mud and entering yurt; so we left.

If this is clamping, I would rather save the $$ & stay at the state park campground. To be fair, the campground has what the description said … tent, bed, decent sheets, showers. But the facility lacks basic campground amenities that are found at most other campground. The entry to the campground is marked by a tiny sign on a fence post on the road leading past the campground. & even then, once we arrived, there was nothing to help us know where to go. Eventually, after calling the campground number twice, we were met by a very young man with a Boy Scout shirt on claiming that he was the campground host. He led us to a parking spot & then we both had to search for our assigned site. (He wasn’t even sure where the site was.) The walk to/from the tent was on a very uneven dirt meander containing small shrubs that were easy to trip over. They need to have some sort of groomed path that is maintained & lit. The showers/toilets are in a trailer that is entered via very high steps. Awkward entry & dangerous exit at best. The showers are pull-cord showers with very short hard to pull chains, making it challenging to get consistent water to wash with. Inside the showers, there is nowhere to place shampoo & soap. There is a soap dispenser in the showers, but it was empty. Also, there is no control over the water temperature. Eventually the water gets hot, but only after holding the chain down for over a minute. & then it gets too hot. Won’t be staying here again.
