Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc

We absolutely loved our spacious villa with a beautiful pool. The whole resort was very spacious, well thought out with lots of different aspects of the gardens and communal pools and public spaces.

The property felt like it was in the middle of nowhere so getting into some mode of transport made it a bit tedious and not much else to do outside the resort.

It had a nice pool and the villas were nice. The nightly fire show was great for the kids. Kids club had activities but you had to pay for it. Fish feeding was great. Smaller resort compared to others so much quieter around the pool etc.

Restaurant was very average - kept having buffet every few nights we were there. Not close to beach - only hourly shuttle service (should run this whenever guests wants it) - any other 5 star resort would do this. For the same price - you can go to another resort which has more kid friendly activities like water slides and beach front etc so we didn’t feel like it was value for money at all. Even though it was a smaller resort - breakfast is very busy. Some of the things in the villa is also not working well - e.g bathroom door - the villas were little dated. Also they charge $15 for a broken water cup. we’ve never ever been charged for accidental breakages in any 5 star resorts so I think that pretty much sums up this resorts service approach.

This is the second time we stayed here and definitely this resort is the best I have ever stayed, with modern and stylish diner and villa. And the diner provides the best quality of South East Asian and Western food as well (actually my favorite plate was Club House Sandwich)

Breakfast choice are great. Some of the staff are good, especially those who work in the restaurant.

Check-in time are supposed to be at 3pm, but when we arrive at the resort at 3pm, the villa is not ready yet. The villas are not friendly-use to elderly. There's no room downstairs, all the rooms are upstairs. However, in booking.com it mentioned that they do have sofa bed in the living room, but when we asked the reception, there's no sofa bed at all. We went to the beach, but the staff over there chase us away, it's kinda rude.

Everything was perfect. The pool, staff and facilities were amazing and cannot recommend more. Make sure you book advance for the airport shuttle as we gave them little notice for airport transfer. The staff were very apologetic and gifted us with a fruit platter to make up for it.
