Hotel Ulysses, a Member of Design Hotels

Witnessed a "manager" in Bloom openly disrespect and demean a member of the public who had every right to be in the location. The Guest possessed more grace than the manager, and was not treated well. The only disruptions were due to this *manager" feeling comfortable being impolite towards women of color.

Literally the best hotel we have ever stayed at. It was absolutely gorgeous. I loved the style of the rooms, the shower was my favorite part! Oh & the very pretty floral lights above the bathroom sink were just too cute. From the overall vibe to the incredibly kind staff, I was blown away. It was also VERY clean, which I especially appreciated as I am a germaphobe. I truly could not recommend it enough. We will be back!

Terrific staff, great place to stay in Baltimore! The service and food in Ash-Bar is wonderful, the decor is fun, rooms comfortable and have everything you need.

Hotel Ulysses is a great place to stay in downtown Baltimore. The rooms are spacious, clean and artistic, and the bars have a nice selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. What stood out the most about our stay though was the customer service! Elliot at the front desk helped make our stay seamless and went above and beyond to provide us with an upgraded king room!

Located in posh Mount Vernon neighborhood, Ulysses is has all the ingredients for a great weekend getaway: a delightful restaurent and bar with a very civilized ‘apertivo’ time, Bloom’s jewel box bar and part time jazz club and finally there is a speak-easy in the basement. Lots of great neighborhood restaurants, wine bars and museums. The rooms are beautifully appointed with handmade quilts, leopard print carpets, and very comfy beds. You may not want to leave, but if you do you’re not far from all the fun and exciting things to do and see in town.

The wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Baltimore. We knew it was a historic hotel so the smaller-than-modern room size didn't bother us. The decor is charmingly unique and we liked the radically different aesthetic overall. It fit in well to the neighborhood. One thing we really appreciated were the heavy and truly blackout curtains in the room. Another highlight was the food and drink service at the Ash Bar, it was a laid back atmosphere that we vibed with very well. There are plenty of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. And the bus line pass right or very near to the hotel, which is convenient. I'd recommend figuring out your parking plans before you arrive if you bring a car, since they don't have a dedicated lot and this is a dense urban area.

Quirky hotel very clean and the staff were very nice.

The room didn’t have much air circulation no exhaust in the bath room. Not good for menopausal women.
