Broken shower door, front door didn't lock properly, so other guests left it open. Very unsafe, . the police woke me up one morning looking for somebody. And the uht milk in the bedroom was out of date, which is insane, considering the shelf life of that milk..

After an initial hiccup I found it easy to check into this very pleasant and well located terraced property, well maintained a modern style and in a well located part of Crewe. Close to the centre, near an Aldi and other local shops, takeaway outlets and a pub or two were quite close by. It was well located for the purpose of the contract work I had to do in Crewe for a week, and broadly enjoyed my stay. Wifi was thoroughly excellent. TV etc is in rooms, the central sitting room isn't designed for communal use as such.

Just a point worth noting is that the (hot and powerful) shower is in the only bathroom, which is downstairs at the back of the building. The staircase to upstairs is at an unusually steep angle If believe the owners need to uphold 'freezer discipline' (and possibly one or two long term tenants) a little more tightly. I had to remonstrate sharply with one of the tenants (African gentleman, worked long hours in the nursing sector like me, respect that ). However he firstly thought himself empowered to lecture me about the fridge and freezer. It's really simple sunshine, there were no free shelves so as a paying guest I lodged my foodstuffs wherever they could fit. Equally he felt authorised to show me some damage to the sliding shower door roller, which simply had to be me, because everyone else said it wasn't the and it wasn't that way last night (yes it was, in fact). Apart from having to resist the urge to fling this individual through a window the dwelling was well appointed and pleasant to stay in.
