Ashley Motel

Booked a king bed and received a room with 2 beds that we were told were queen beds but were very small queens. Offered a king room, but we were already in the room and needed to leave to get to the game. Also had to ask for toilet paper as we had none. We got back to our room around Midnight, found the property was very lit up and felt safe. We got in our room and found a hair in the first bed so we both squeezed into the other. There was trash on the bathroom floor, hair on the tp holder (so I didn’t put the tp on it), hot water in shower had to run for several minutes to get hot, but then was good! The next morning my husband moved the main blanket and found a huge wad of hair that was NOT ours. Overall the floors needed to be swept and mopped very well, needed a good dusting, the bathroom needed a good scrubbing too to bottom, and linens need to be washed and checked better before putting on. Bed was comfortable, pillows not great. Definitely not as clean as I thought it would be esp for the price that we paid. Owner was a very nice older gentleman.

It’s your typical motel, nothing too fancy. Easy to get to and nice and quiet….and we had a road that faces the highway. Ignore the negative comments because it’s not that bad. It is dated, but they’re doing renovations. If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton on a cheap budget, this isn’t the place for you. Our room was cute, the shower worked great, and the bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve slept in. Has a fridge and microwave, which is nice because there’s restaurants all over. Just ignore the bad reviews….its not that bad a place. Was my toilet paper holder broken….yes…..but I’m not going to complain over something as stupid as that. Like I said, don’t expect the Ritz, but expect a really comfy night’s sleep. We will definitely stay again!

While the gentleman that works at the Front desk is very nice, and hospitable.. I found the room very... Lacking. There was mold under the Bathroom sink, The tub/shower was painted over, and that paint was peeling. The bathroom door had visible dirt on it, as well as the walls. You could see streaks from where they attempted to wipe the walls down. but just didnt get the job done. You have to let the water run for several minutes for the water to actually be warm, not Hot. The room was drafty, and we could hear the guests on the other side of us.

Property is cheap, but you truly get what you pay for. Bathroom door was splitting into 3, trash on floors, walls very dirty, shower needs replaced. Beds were clean as far as I could tell.

Very basic hotel. I just needed a place to crash for 6 or 7 hours. Nothing fancy but you get what you pay for.

Was New in town looking for a decent place? I found this place talk to the vet at the front desk who is more than willing to show me about the place. It’s not brand new but it is clean and when you need something done it’s taken care of. I asked the housekeeper if she could clean the shower curtain and she put a new one in for me that was great.
