To strong smells of air perfume. Bit unclean in few places .

The location is really nice and good for walks into Bridlington, the hot tub was a relaxing addition however we stayed 5 nights and it wasn’t checked while we were there, the lodge smelt lovely due to the amount of air fresheners and reed diffusers. The kitchen area is amazing and the larder cupboard is great to keep everything out of the way. Complimentary shower gels a nice touch.

Too much clutter, had to move the ladder holding throws into the other bedroom while we were there as couldn’t make use of the dressing table area properly. The bathrobes hung on the bathroom doors are a nice idea but they didn’t smell freshly washed and due to the thickness of them meant they were in the way so again left them on the spare beds whilst we were there. The lodge is described as luxury boutique and whilst the candles and diffusers go some way I would have expected better hangers in the wardrobe than the many wire ones. There was a pair of men’s worn slippers left in the bedroom. The lodge wasn’t dirty by any means but it is in need of some attention in the bathrooms with sealant repairs and a toilet seat that fits properly the shower screen seal in the en-suite is full of green build up. It could do with a deep clean to restore it. The chairs and sofa as mentioned in other reviews are not comfy and aren’t great to relax as a couple to watch TV.

Lovely lodge....excellent Hot Tub. Very comfortable beds. Lovely shower... very modern felt cosy was able to sign Into Netflix easy had a few movie nights. Very quiet location. Easy to find. Very responsive hosts.

Too many air fresheners etc as an allergy sufferer I spent most of the week sneezing!
