This hotel is a hidden gem! We stayed here for 11 nights in Sep/Oct 2025 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is minutes away from the port and the old town, with lots of shops and restaurants close by, but a note to consider - access to the hotel from the old town is up a steep flight of steps, (the staff will meet you and carry your luggage up and down), but something to consider if you have mobility issues. If you don't, don't let steps put you off! The hotel is a beautiful arrangement of small buildings, with only a handful of rooms in each. We had a premium room and it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff are dedicated to your comfort, so if you needed a softer/harder pillow they can provide. There is a bar terrace at the very top (more stairs) with comfy chairs and fantastic views over the town. It's a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the sun set and the boats depart. Breakfasts are amazing! All vegetarian, great spread of turkish eats/delights - menemen, olives, fruit, pastries, jams, breads, hummus and dips, and slightly different everyday. My partner is vegan and the staff were amazing at adjusting foods for him and ensuring he had lots to eat. Kept us going until dinner time. Lastly, the staff were wonderful, incredibly friendly and Melek (the manager) helped us organise all of our excursions, restaurant bookings and transfers. Would I go back? Absolutely - in a heartbeat! Massive thank you to Villa Ephesus for a great stay.

Our room offered a beautiful view overlooking the harbour, which made waking up each morning a real pleasure. It had plenty of character, blending charm with comfort, and was spotlessly clean throughout our stay—creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that we truly appreciated.

Although the hotel was centrally located, its position on a stee[ hill made coming and going quite challenging, especially with the many steps involved—it often limited how much we ventured out. We also found the staff to be somewhat inflexible when it came to early breakfast arrangements. Due to early tour pickups, we missed breakfast on two occasions. When we requested a 7:00 AM breakfast, we were told the kitchen only opened at 7:30 AM and weren’t offered any alternatives like a lunch box. Even a request to have breakfast at 7:50 AM instead of the usual 8:00 AM was declined. Thankfully, a lunch box was offered on the second day, although we didn't take it. But considering many tourists visit for early excursions to places like Ephesus and Pamukkale, we expected a bit more flexibility. The room itself was lovely and well-appointed, but the translucent blinds and lack of curtains meant it was never fully dark—villa complex lights and early morning light filtered in, which affected sleep quality.

Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt en vriendelijke service. Ruime kamer, ruime douchecabine en heet water. Prima bed, Netflix op tv. Sfeervol hotel. Gratis auto parking vlakbij of aan de straat of betaald parkeren op hotel parking. Nabij de bazaar, boulevard, winkels en restaurants. Medewerker droeg na uitchecken onze koffer de trappen op, heel fijn.

Badkamer had iets groter gemogen. Extra deken voor op bed was fijn geweest(frisse nachten), maar hadden we ook kunnen vragen als het echt nodig was geweest. Medewerker bij receptie bij aankomst sprak nauwelijks Engels, niet handig bij inchecken. Niet veel waterdruk bij het douchen en zeephouder zat los(vergeten melden bij uitchecken). Let op: hotel ligt op een heuvel, dus trap/hellingen lopen. Vonden wij geen probleem, maar hou er rekening mee als je hier logeert.
