Nice place at a cheap price.

Location means noise is there till 2am

It was clean, well kept, comfortable. Room had night light, lockers, personal charging station. Kitchen was kept clean as well. Very social and many nice group activities to join. Chill vibes, not a party hostel. On a café and bar street. Would stay again if in cape town

It can be a little loud from the street at night if you are sound sensitive. It didn't worry me and didn't hear anyone else struggling with it. Beds could be softer

On the positive side, the 4-bed female dorm was good, and the bathroom was clean. The view from the shower was also a nice highlight.

Overall, this hostel felt overpriced for what it offers. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, and people were smoking at the dining tables, which made the common areas quite uncomfortable. The staff were not very proactive – you had to ask for everything, and even then the information was often incomplete. The metal beds were very noisy, which made it difficult to sleep. In the evenings, it could get quite loud, and there was a noticeable smell of marijuana coming from the bar in front of the hostel.
