Wunderschön renoviertes altes Stadthaus mit einem herrlichen Garten und kleinem Pool in optimaler Lage

Es wäre sehr schön mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad und Zimmer zu haben

Waren eine Woche vorher schon dort - in anderem Zimmer. Alles wie gehabt perfekt.

Das Zimmer (Nr. 104) diesmal für zwei viel zu klein - kaum Platz für Koffer, Bad und WC in der Größe einer Flugzeugtoilette. Für eine Nacht ging es, länger wäre es unmöglich…

Das Ambiente ist unschlagbar. Mitten im Trubel des Marques im Hinterhof mit Garten und Pool. Sehr freundliches Personal . Bester Portwein als Welcome drink. Hausgemachte Kekse und Tee, Kaffee Möglichkeit im Zimmer.

Etwas irritiert waren wir, da wir zwei Zimmer in der gleichen Kategorie gebucht hatten und eines war riesig mit Terasse, eines klein und schnuggelig. Aber beide sauber und sehr stilvoll.

We were staying in Porto for four nights. Unfortunately we did not have a good start. We arrived late evening and were shown to a room in the basement. This was not the Superior room we reserved six months ago. We asked the receptionist about this to be told rooms were allocated subject to availability. We told him we were not happy with the room. The receptionist advised us that he would contact his supervisor and asked us to speak to someone the following morning. We did this and were told there were no rooms available until the following day. We agreed that we would wait but said we would be putting in a complaint to Booking.com. We were moved the following day so we had two nights in the room we had originally booked for four nights.

There is no lift at the hotel and our room was on the top floor. Not a problem if you're OK with stairs but could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage. On the first morning we were offered choice of cooked food and coffee..On subsequent mornings we had to ask for this each time. The hotel is a 20-30 minute walk from Porto centre with noot many restaurants or attractions nearby. However it is near a Metro station.

Wunderschönes altes top renoviertes Haus und super freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal . … und der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool lädt an heißen Tagen mal zum Entspannen ein. Die Lage zur Metro ist unschlagbar- in wenigen Minuten ist man mitten in der Stadt.

Leider gibt es viel zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer und Bad.

Nice quiet location as our room faced the garden. Ideal size room. Breakfast was lovely

Nothing really...the river is a good 40 minute walk but there is a Metro station at the front if needed
