The cottage is quirky and cosy in a ideal location

Lovely cosy little cottage in the middle of the hills with a beautiful scenic walk into Heptonstall and Hebden! We had the best weekend hiking and writing poetry! Would highly recommend to any friends who want a short weekend away :)

Beautiful garden, spacious rooms and living space, well stocked kitchen. The house has some beautiful features and is furnished to a very cosy effect. The wood burner was an incredible plus! Would love to be back at the property.

Transport is tricky unless you have a car, but local taxis were easy to find. Uber often unavailable. The garden was a little slanted, which we didn't expect, but we were fine just being a little careful.

We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away
