Destination Inn

This is a different kind of motel. It's in the motel district in the heart of Radium Hot Springs. From the outside it looks pretty much like the other motels. But each unit has two rooms, a bedroom in back, and a main room with a queen bed and a small kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, sink and microwave. There is no stove or dishwasher, so you are limited in what you can cook, but at least it's something. There is a small kitchn table with two chairs, but no sitting chair as there isn't room. There is a continental breakfast above the office, with an outdoor patio with breakfast seating. I don't know where people sit when it's cold. Maybe they bring some chairs inside. The breakfast includes cereals, muffins and pastries, sliced meat and cheese, and three plastic containers with warm eggs, sausages, and potatoes. It looks like it encourages picking up something and taking it back to your room. An easy way to start your day. Service was quick and competent. The price was only slightly more than motel one-room units, so having two bedrooms was a bonus.

Close to many restaurants

The Destination Inn in Radium Hot Springs was an excellent stay with nicely finished room, an awesome staff, and a central location walkable to most of the shops and food for the town. Great food nearby within steps. An equipped kitchen in the room and cool people all around!

The accommodations were clean and well-equipped with a mini kitchen, which was a big plus for us. Additionally, the outside barbecue area was a nice touch even though it was a small outdoor space. On the downside, the bedding looked old and was somewhat crumpled which needs to be updated. For breakfast, you need to be there early as limited of clean plates and cutleries.

Check in was nice and smooth, the Inn is dated overall but the rooms are nicely renovated. We had a comfort room with a small separate bedroom, small bathroom and a kitchen type area, it had a table & chairs, full fridge & microwave but no sink. Only sink was in the bathroom. Cute single patio tables outside each room. Breakfast was self-serve, but we went towards the end so not much left. Overall nice place for our one night that we'd stay at again.

I liked that there were two beds, one in a separate room. It would be nice if there was air conditioning in the main living space instead of just the separateroom. There was so only seating for 2 inside and 2 outside which made it difficult for us to eat as a family of 4. Sleeping was a little noisy anytime someone walked along the deck so I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper sleeping the main living area. We were a little put off by having to clean our own dishes. It wasnt so bad having to clean the ones in our room, but the free conteniental breakfast required you to cook your own food and wash your dishes as well, and didn't open until 8am. As we were in a hurry to get on the road to our next dstination, we chose to eat elsewhere. Unfortunately most of the restaurants in the area opened later than we needed as well.

Like- clean, spacious, updated, good amenities. Dislike- bed was very creaky, breakfast mostly gone when we arrived at 8:00 AM.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean but AC didn’t work great. It was average.

We are very happy about the stay. The staff is very informative on attractions around town, different services & their fees, length of time required, etc. Save us times google for details. I personally like the continental breakfast that they provide -- you can choose to self-made your own hot breakfast!!! It's a nice surprise and our party of 4 enjoyed it very much,
