Circle Court Motel

This was our first stay at a family-run motel, and it was nice. Room was clean and tidy; I was very impressed that the toilet even had a "been clean / sanitized" type plastic covering on it (never seen that before). Our family really loved that we could sign-on to the TV with our Netflix account / etc, haven't seen that ability in our travels before. The room in general could use some upgrades - size of TV, bed comfort, doors/knobs.

The hotel kept calling us because we didn't check in on time. We were 30 minutes late and they called us several times!! When they called, they wanted to know if we were going to the hotel or canceling!! We had the option to cancel because we had somewhere to stay that night, but we booked the hotel because it was more comfortable!! The hotel informed us on the phone that if we canceled, they could give us another day's stay. This entire conversation was over the phone and we canceled the stay!! Today, after 3 days, the hotel responded saying that we misunderstood and would not give us another day's stay!! They broke their word and acted in bad faith to rent to another guest because the date was July 4th, a popular date and during high season!! They charged our card at the time we spoke on the phone!! But the absurd attitude of not keeping their word by their attendant is a disgrace.

Staff was welcoming and room was spotless. Would stay again.

Great location, quiet despite it being in town. Nice staff. Room had not been updated as others have, after new ownership. It showed its age. The price was fair.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Any problems were addressed quickly and graciously. Our room was very clean nicely appointed. Should I find myself in Ticonderoga again, I will definitely stay at the Circle Court.

Good value and comfortable. The staff was great. They do lack a few amenities (like shampoo, tissues and hair dryer). But the stay was fine.

No iron in the room. Front desk loaned one but no ironing board.
