Nice friendly staff

Advertised as a 5-star hotel, our stay at Oakwood in Phnom Penh was disappointing. We experienced a strong, unpleasant odor from the air conditioning, which led to a room change in the middle of the night. While the staff was friendly and refunded the first night, the issue was never fully resolved. The pool was too cold to enjoy, and the advertised “kids club” was just a simple playroom where parents must stay with their children.

Everything you need is located at hotel. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant had great food and great staff. Hotel staff set up tours with driver. Was surprised to have English speaking channels but did watch much tv
