Homewood Suites By Hilton Oak Creek Milwaukee

Here is my Google review I am currently in the lobby at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Oak Creek Milwaukee writing this review. First of all, this might be the first Google review I have ever left in my life. That is how upset I am. When making this reservation, I asked the Hilton rep 5 times if the suite I was reserving had a door separating the bedroom from the living area. Five times the rep replied that it did. I was adament about this because I snore and it would keep everyone else in the room awake if the bedroom did not have a door. I even shared this fact jokingly with the rep so she would understand that it was important. The rep laughed along with me and promised 5 different times that it had a door. I drive 7 hours in a minivan to the hotel. We checked in and found out that the room was completely open with no door. We go to the front desk and explain the situation. The lady at the front desk said that all suites with a door had people in them already. I stressed the importance of my situation and that the rep promised me it had a door. She said that her DM would be in at 11:00 PM (it was 9:15 PM at the time). I asked her to call the DM so I could get this resolved so we could get some sleep. The lady at the front desk called her manager. Her manager told her not to call the DM and that she could take $20 off of the room...lol. The other option was for me to pay for another room and hope to get compensated the additional $650 later. Once they threw out the $20 off option, I did not have any confidence at all that the situation was going to be resolved. I have been a Hilton Honors member for decades. I used to travel a lot for work but do not travel much anymore and mostly travel with family. I have always tried to stay at a Hilton property when it was available. I now have to rethink this and will not recommend others to stay at Hilton. Hilton will not be my top choice going forward.

There was a huge party going on downstairs and it was so loud you could hear up two floors where we were. Other than that it was great and spacious place. A little pricey.

Great property close to airport

Place was convenient and less expensive than right in the city. But my bed was soooooo uncomfortable and it squeaked every time I rolled over. Ugh

Very quiet and nice as well as close by airport.good choice for breakfast and warm welcome from motel staff.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Area is clean and well maintained. Breakfast options were fantastic
