Nice concept for quiet stay

Lack of maintenance, not very clean, unpleasant smells

It looks just like the pictures. The place is very pretty and well kept. Distance wise, it is close enough to the main plaza of Atlixco, but you will need transportation to and from. The view from the bedroom is relaxing and has the perfect amount of lighting to either sleep till late or wake up for your day early.

Once checked in, we had plans and headed out quickly, and didn't check the room. We arrived very late and didn't have any towels so we had to improvise till the next day. Please bare in mind that it's cold right now, but nevertheless, we had a good laugh about it. The shower was tricky to figure out the hot water, though we did get it right after a while. Other than that, it's a good choice.

Beautiful concept

This is a beautiful concept , but not worth the price and experience. Unbeknowst to me, this is a place for couples to enjoy themselves, not for general tourism or a stay. My local friends immediately knew this, but you wouldnt know that looking online. I am a travel agent and this place falls short of expectations, the reviews, and category ratings. The communication and response time to my intial inquiry prior to booking was very slow (3 days and after I booked). Upon arrival, check-in was smooth, but it took 3 requests to get towels in my casita. The bed is a very small double bed for 2 people. The mattress is very hard, low quality; you can feel the mattress springs. There is no extra blanket for the cool nights. The hot water is not hot. It is barely lukewarm which hot water is necessary in cool nights and mornings in Atlixco. A group of couples began enjoying themselves in the communal pool at 8 am with much noise and woke me up. Overall, it's beautiful, mostly clean, but not worth it especially with the increased weekend rate.
