Sea Edge Beachside Hotel

I've been to the property twice before but not since it underwent renovations in 2025. They have done a terrific job. It looks and feels luxurious from the comfortable bed, to the kitchenette, the leather sofa, the big screen TV and the bathroom with heated mirror, panhead walk-in shower and excellent skin and hair products. The veranda is covered in a soft artificial turf-like material and is soft and cozy under bare feet. The views of the beach and ocean are stupendous from the veranda. There is a comfortable lounge with pool table and delicious, complementary coffee adjacent to the registration office.

We weren't sure about the use of multi-ply toilet tissues vs. a roll. A bit awkward to use but I'm sure we could have gotten used to it. The tissue material was strong enough.

The location was beautiful. Right on the beach and close to restaurants in town as well. The room was clean and well-equipped.

Our room wasn't ready when we checked in at 4:00 p.m. I thought the desk staff was going to call me when it was ready, but I didn't get a call. It wasn't a big problem - everything was fine when we went back about an hour later. I wouldn't let this stop you from booking here though!

We had a large group of people for a family gathering. They were very accommodating and we had a fantastic time. Wish we could keep it all to ourselves but its too good not to share. Special shout out to Jufer who was incredible. We will be back!

Just returned from an amazing 3 night stay at Sea Edge, and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed!! We came with our minor hockey team, and everyone was absolutely thrilled with this hotel. We usually stay at the Beach Club next door, but honestly this place was even better! The rooms and the views were incredible, but even more amazing was all the indoor and outdoor gathering areas! There is a fully stocked indoor lounge, and tons of seating areas, gazebos, picnic areas, fire pits, all looking out onto the beautiful beach. The staff were absolutely wonderful, constantly cleaning and checking in on us. The rooms had everything we could possibly need. The prices were really reasonable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you Sea Edge, we will be back!!

Reasonably priced for a last minute stay! They did a good job with the renovations. It’s an amazing location with tons of amenities near by and on site. Beautiful view and easy direct access to the beach. We loved the fire pits and all the cool games, BBQ area gazebos and lounge. Finnish steam room near by.

As someone who is a professional cleaner, it was very good. One or two things they should have splurged on the renovation is a spray shower wand instead of fixed ones. It makes it much easier for the staff to clean the shower/tub properly. Everything was great but the shower curtain had a slight mildew smell. Also additional sound proofing would have been a benefit as you can hear the water in the pipes after someone upstairs uses the facilities. We wish there was a couple pet friendly rooms as our dog would have loved the easy beach access :)
