Seda Club Hotel – Small Luxury Hotel

The check in with Laura was first class. Lots of interesting information and recommendations. Booked us in to restaurants. Very convenient and they park your car.

The staff was very helpful. We were happy with the room and the breakfast. The side tables could be bigger but it was a well appointed room with copious space. The hotel could use a fitness room but overall for everything it attempted, it did well.

We stayed three nights at the Seda Club in Granada and had an exceptional experience. The staff (in particular Chahinaz and Pablo) are so kind and helpful! They assisted in coordinating local reservations, gave us tips for our visit to Granada (and the Alhambra), and helped us at every step along the way. Make sure to enjoy a drink on the rooftop bar before heading into town for tapas or dinner! The hotel is lovely and the service exceptional! Highly recommend!

A somewhat disappointing stay. I paid almost €2000 for three nights in mid-September. For this exceptionally high price, I expected exceptional service in all areas. Unfortunately, Seda Club fell short. Pros: Lovely room, relatively large (“Grand Deluxe” room). Very warm welcome at check-in. Breakfast was tasty. Turndown service was lovely. Cons: Air conditioning: Sub-par, as others have alluded to here. On the first night, the aircon did not work at all, no air whatsoever coming out of the vents. When I complained in the morning, no fan was offered. The following 2 nights were better, but the room was never quite cool enough. Minibar: Upon first opening it, the bottom of my minibar was covered with a yellowish liquid. No problem, I cleaned it up. But for this price, that was unexpected (and disgusting). Room Condition: Make-up mirror was broken, and did not maintain position when adjusted. Again, no problem, I carry a small screwdriver with me and I fixed it myself. But this would have been immediately apparent to whoever was servicing the room and should have been fixed. Also, as others have reported, the shower overflowed water into the bathroom. Unsafe and inconvenient. Breakfast Service: As in other reviews, I found the service at breakfast to be unwelcoming and cold. Servers appeared overworked and overwhelmed. Requests for more coffee went unfilled. Front Desk: With the exception of the woman who checked me in, I was never greeted upon entering or departing the hotel. At check-out, I was asked “How was your stay?” to which I replied “It was okay.” Receptionist did not inquire any further. My stay at Seda Club was not bad, but also not particularly good for the extremely high price I was paying. Other have reported some of these same issues on this forum, most of which have been met with a reply from Seda Club that “we take your feedback seriously” and “we will work on improving these areas” and “we hope you will give us another opportunity to convince you of our hotel and service in the future.” But most of the same issues I experienced were reported here as early as March 2024. I arrived in Granada from Sevilla, where I stayed at their sister property Gravina 51. By comparison, the service at Gravina was vastly superior at nearly half the price. I think Seda Club can do better.

We reserved our stay 9 months before and prepaid for the room. Two weeks before our stay, we were informed that there was a technical glitch and they were sold out for one of our nights. I tried to work with the hotel, but they wanted us to split our stay into different hotels, which I was willing to do, but I was not happy. Then they just refunded the entire stay amount. Now the bait and switch happened when the new rate was almost double our original rate, and we were going to be in two different hotels. We decided to stay at a different property completely for our trip. Just want to warn fellow travelers that this hotel does not honor a prepaid reservation. If I had just reserved the room, I could understand, but since I had prepaid more than 9 months prior, we were left in complete shock. Very poor management!

Seda Club Hotel and their extraordinary team made our stay in Granada one of the most pleasurable experiences we’ve ever had on our travels. This 20 room boutique hotel is charming, comfortable, and convenient to everything. Drinks on the rooftop terrace with a view of the nearby cathedral, spa time reserved exclusively for our use, excellent dinner and tour recommendations, extensive breakfast offerings and excellent service all made our brief two night stay a truly memorable experience.

My husband and I just spent 3 glorious days visiting Granada, Spain. What helped make our experience so enjoyable was staying at the Seda Club. What a truly wonderful “ jewel box” of a hotel it is! Our room was extremely comfortable and lovely. The dining area and bar, as well as a “ secret” lounge hiding behind a bookcase were perfect! Best of all was the incredible staff! Gorgeous boutique hotel, situated on a square close walking distance to everything and surrounded by great food. The roof top terrace bar is brilliant and they have the most comfortable beds and pillows. We loved our stay at the Seda Club.
