Remedies Inn

An amazing experience in a very old building, with modern upgrades. We stayed in the Dixon suite for 2 nights. Room was clean. Had everything that was needed. Yes, you can hear the freight trains coming through town, but we loved it. The leave ear plugs for those that are picky about sound! The black out blinds will let you sleep in! Bathroom shower, huge walk in with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Shelf above toilet had qtips & gauze pads for removing make up etc. Small kitchen with Keurig, toaster oven, microwave and small fridge plus plates/bowls/utensils for 2. Extra coffee, tea, creamer etc are found at the top of the stairs. YOU MUST GO UP STEEP STAIRS TO GET TO ANY OF THE ROOMS. If you cannot climb stairs, this is NOT the place for you! There is no elevator! Rooms is tastefully decorated as shown in pictures. My ONLY complaint was the bed was too soft for our liking and no support on the sides. We slept, but just prefer firmer mattress. Dinner a few doors down at the italian place, Vittorino's Cucina was DELICIOUS, went 2 nights in a row! Will definitly come back to Sweetwater and stay again!

Everything was just right. Wonderful little touches everywhere. You can stay here for a relaxing night or for a few days. Private, well appointed and very comfortable. The noise machine was an added bonus for those who can't sleep without a fan.
