Whitley Old Garage

The accommodation was warm and clean, and the owner is friendly and helpful (he lives in the Georgian manor house across the forecourt). The village has an excellent characterful pub and there are other excellent food and drink choices nearby. We chose this location because of the very fair price at Bath Xmas Market time, when other properties had increased their prices enormously. This is now our go-to when staying in the Bath area.

This self contained apartment has everything we needed and the location was great for touring around Bath and Wiltshire. Tim is a very helpful host with great local knowledge.

The mirror in the bathroom over the basin is a little high for anyone who is short. A mirror near a power socket would be useful when using a hairdryer

Lovely little oasis near to Bath in lovely country village

It was cozy and quiet. Also had all you would need to stay self sufficient. Was a well thought out apartment on the grounds of the owners property. Was a little out of the way, not a great stop if you don’t have a car.

It’s a little awkward to find, you have to enter another property to then drive trough to the a neighbouring property to find garage. Best to look on google maps first.

Tim and Ginny provide excellent accomodation for a single or couple. Tim is a very friendly owner. The site is close to bus stop easy trip to Bath. Pear Tree Inn good food with gluten free beer and guiness

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area!
