Soliport Hotel & SPA

The property is relatively new and at first appearance seems clean and modern. The location, as the crow flies, appears good and when walking downhill it is fine for the windsurf centres.

The staff do not speak English. There are some comments that suggests that there is a gap but the approach of the staff is that the guests are of secondary importance. The hotel had copied my signature and authorised bills in the bar and restaurant that we had not been party to - this happened with us sat in the very restaurant and were then challenged and intimidated by new ‘staff’ members when we challenged it with reception. The response is always that they are just working there and no manager was ever available. The property sits on top of a very steep hill and would not be suitable for young children or older people because of this. The wind is so strong at the top of the hill that the pool, which is completely unprotected from the consistent trade winds, is unpleasant to sit at. Moreover, glasses are served at the pool and frequently and routinely smash, so he idle staff did not sweep once during our stay as we witness several glasses smash poolside. Our room was not cleaned even with requests for such. When it was finally attended to the bed was simply made and towels replaced. Dirty cups, spillages and no coffees/milk/sugar etc were replaced. A fridge in the room at the foot end of the bed has a permanent light on so bright that we had to cover with pillows and towels these are in all rooms. The air conditioning also routinely shut off at 2am every day. Stay elsewhere, this hotel is run in a terrible manner and customer service is not acceptable. We were unable to resolve the theft from the restaurant/bar/hotel and left feeling upset and aggrieved - we are incredibly experienced travelers and feel that this hotel completely misrepresents their offering. Wildfires also occurred during our stay and the hotel offered no comfort or advice around them. This hotel is dreadful because of the way that it is managed - it will not improve to an acceptable standard for some time as their in no indication that staff will be educated appropriately.

Die Zimmer waren riesig es war das schönste Hotel in dem ich je war, es war sauber alles war wirklich sehr top vom Frühstück bis zur schönen View zum Port. Kann ich nur empfehlen! 8 Min Fußweg runter zum traumhaften öffentlichen Strand. Respekt an das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit bei allem.

Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms are specious and beautifully designed.it is definetly “come back” hotel.

There is an exciting view on the sea from the room. My son enjoyed swimming pool a lot. And I have to say that breakfasts are pretty good.

Beyond the expectations, much much better than the photos. Fresh , new, clean, amazing design, everything is done with the taste, service is perfect - everyone is so friendly. Breakfast is amazing! With the beautiful view Overall couldn’t be more happy about this choice and will definitely come back here!
