Our room looked recently renovated. The property is undergoing some updates and improvements. The property is right on the river, and they provide chairs, picnic benches, and open fire options to enjoy the river and its views. So peaceful and relaxing.

The location is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and modern. Would stay here again.
My most memorable stay ever! I'm a traveller around the states, and this place is the most wonderful! We (5 people) arrived at 11pm, and the staff was very welcome to help us add another bed (for free) even before we noticed to ask. The surrounding is quiet at night, and extremely chill in the morning thanks to the river. The room is clean, and spacious compared to other inn we've ever been to. The price is extremely affordable also. At first I was scared because this place was in the middle of nowhere, but the experience was so good that we decided to come back here for the trip next year!
Amazing hotel especially for the cost. Was very nice to hear and see the river just outside the rear windows. Unit was very clean with very high-end fixtures and appealing decor. And oh my god... the beds were amazing. This probably sounds like an exaggeration but I've stayed in many hotels and without a doubt, the bedding and mattress here were absolutely the most comfortable I've ever been in. Extremely fine pillowcases and sheets and a very nice semi-firm mattress but with a soft foam top. Bed was actually a 10/10, I really could not imagine anything nicer and more comfortable.
USChris and Oscar were wonderful staff :) the tv didn’t work so they came and fixed it . Room was cozy. Comfy beds . Comfy pillows in the king bed . Fire pits were nice to have a fire in the evening. The river in the back was cool to see and listen to . The river and chairs in the front was a beautiful spot to walk down and listen to the water . Lobby had books , games and big spray . Also served cookies and wine as a little welcoming hello treat . Parking was small only because there’s not to many rooms but they are nice and remodeled . Good price . Close to Tahoe .
I called the property ahead of time, just to double check that bringing my pet was okay. I let her know I was in need of serenity. She put me in RM 21 on the 2nd floor with the Breathtaking View of the River. My entire stay was quiet, serene, beautiful and the employees were all very courteous. Thank you for such a great relaxed experience
I highly recommend this hidden gem. Beautiful location, we stayed in room 21 and the view of the river from our room was perfect. Lots of hiking and a places to hang by the river close by. If we ever find ourselves back in this area we will definitely be staying here again.

the caretakers of the property are super kind! The property itself is beautiful and right off of the freeway leading to south lake tahoe!
