A Wonderful Stay at Il Corbezzolo Tropea – Perfect for Families! We just returned from a 6-night stay at Il Corbezzolo Tropea – Residence, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Traveling with kids can sometimes be challenging, but this place made everything easy, relaxing, and truly enjoyable for the whole family. The residence is beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature, offering a perfect mix of comfort and calm. Our apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed — from a functional kitchen to comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor space. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the property. The location is ideal: just a short drive from the heart of Tropea, with its stunning beaches, charming streets, and excellent restaurants, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet after a day of exploring. There’s also ample parking and convenient access to nearby attractions in Calabria. The highlight, however, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always available for anything we needed — from local tips to making sure our kids felt at home. Their warmth and care truly made the difference and added a personal touch to our vacation. Our children loved the outdoor spaces and had plenty of room to play safely. It felt like a home away from home — relaxing for adults and fun for kids. We highly recommend Il Corbezzolo to anyone visiting the Tropea area. We’re already dreaming about coming back! Nice view and adequate facilities, a nice pool and a very helpful host.

On the very top of a hill with no footpaths, the laundry machine is paid and was a bit confusing to use.

Excellent location, and Nicola is a friendly and welcoming host. The terrace with the pool is a real highlight — very relaxing. You feel safe and well looked after. The apartment itself is modern and comfortable.

I'm not sure why, but everything in the apartment — bedding, towels, clothes — felt damp, despite the air conditioning working well. It might have been due to temperature differences or perhaps an issue with the property itself. Either way, it definitely affected the overall comfort.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Corbezzolo Tropea and I feel so lucky to have found this accommodation. Our first impressions were WOW, it's such a beautiful, calm, secure and quiet setting. Our host Nicola was very warm and welcoming, he was also so helpful and quick at responding to any of our questions or requests. We went as a family of 4 with two young kids (age 3 & 4) and it suited us perfectly, we hired a car and had 24/7 access to the apartment. It felt secure, gated, private with lots of greenery and quite high up away from the busy crowds of Tropea, which in peak time we've been told gets extremely overcrowded, so this haven is ideal if you get too overwhelmed in the centre. We spent most days at the Tropea beach but hey had a great time at the pool in the late afternoon too watching the sunset. It was very beautiful.

From a cleanliness p.o.v the place was clean when we arrived however, I would have loved more access to cleaning products as the place (obviously) isn't cleaned during your stay. We only stayed a week so wouldn't have gone through a whole bottle of cleaning products if we were to have bought ourselves so I didn't want to spend my money on these things (I also don't want to be cleaning everyday on my holiday) but having access to some essential cleaning products, like bleach for the toilet, or floor cleaner for the mop would have been ideal. We swept everyday and I noticed if we didn't look after the place then the ants would find their way in. It's not a large place so I would have happily swept and mopped daily to keep it clean and smelling nice. I'm sure if I asked, Nicola may have actually provided some products but I only thought of that after we'd left.

The location is simply unbeatable—just a short drive to Tropea’s charming town and beautiful coastline. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for our Italian getaway. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Tropea!

Everything exceeded our expectations! The view was magnificent!! The pool was fantastic and the kids (and we!) loved it. Convenient with sun beds, umbrellas, lounge area, shower and garbage bins by the pool. Only a short drive to Tropea - a town we truly came to love! Supermarket and beaches close by. However, a car is needed to reach the property. The host, Nikola, was very hospitable and generous, always willing to help out and answer our questions with quick replies. Upon arrival he gave us a long list of sights to see and good restaurants/cafes in the area. He also provided us with mosquito repellent and gave our children beach toys that previous guests had left behind. The whole property was very clean and well looked after. Nicely renovated and thought through. Very family friendly!
