Chungchoho Best Hotel

Good location. Confortable beds. Clean. No noises.

Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have slept in ever. Close to Sokcho beach with lots of restaurants around. Close to the express bus station.

For the price, breakfast could have been included (18k won).

strong sewer smell are all over room and Bathroom. We have checked out early morning since we were not able to sleep since the stinky smell.

Excellent location within walking distance to Sokcho Express Terminal, the fish market, Daiso and e-mart supermarket. I did not use the stove but the fridge was useful for storing dinner and breakfast. The bed was incredibly comfortable. (It's a firm mattress). My room was next to the car park (with some view of the mountain) but I was surprised how quiet it was. Good room layout - storage of items are near the door.

It was a bit odd that the kitchen didn't come with dish washing liquid. The fan extractor in the toilet was a little noisy but that can be turned off. There was no one at the reception when I arrived despite me stating my arrival time (around lunch time) so I had to wait a while before I could drop off my bag.
