Good Central location to stay for day trips in and around southern lofoten . Leknes airport is close by so rent a car drop your bags and explore the area .

It was a beautiful spot to stay, and the management was very helpful. The rooms that aren’t facing the water are a tad bit too small for two people with two suitcasesand there’s just barely enough enough water for two people to get a hot shower. Nevertheless, the rooms are very clean and well kept. The heated bathroom floors are very nice. We stayed in a room that did not face the water and also one that faced the water and the larger room facing the water was so much nicer!! There’s no place to get food there and they don’t serve breakfast so if you have transportation to go in town nearby, you’ll be good. The sauna was a lot of fun, so make sure you book the sauna and go for a dip in the Norwegian sea!

We just finished a three night stay at Lofoten Base Camp. I cannot speak more highly of this place. It was clean, comfortable and a superb location for our photography trip. All the major photographic sights were within a half hour’s drive except south Lofoten which was about an hour away. They are in the process of building an onsite restaurant which will certainly add another convenient aspect to this property. The owner is charming and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Lofoten islands no matter for what purpose.

Posto stupendo! Personale super gentile. Consiglio di portare accappatoio x sauna, diversamente è possibile chiedere altre asciugamani. Non era presente lo scolapasta.

El alojamiento era muy bonito, estaba bien equipado, está ubicado sobre una vía principal, el personal sumamente amable y atento, pero sobre todo, es el mejor lugar para ver auroras boreales en Lofoten desde la comodidad de tu balcón.

Fantastic stay!

Had a lovely time here with my girlfriend. There was so much snow and we got to see the northern lights from where we were staying. The host was amazing, very fast replies and drove us into town, was very chatty and lovely. Sauna there was so nice with a beautiful view. Cabin was warm, cozy and clean, comfy bed. Neither of us could drive which was a bit silly because it’s very hard to get around without a car, used taxis which were for the most part reliable.
