All was excellent

The property itself is exceptional. The views amazing 10/10

The accessibility 😅. The food was bad. The hospitality not so great.

We stayed in the cabin on the water and it was an incredible, unique, once in a lifetime experience. The power was intermittent and no wifi, but this is not a place you stay to sit on the internet. Woke up at 6am with an incredible almost 360 degree view on lake victoria of the sunrise. Totally worth it!

The food was fine without being outstanding.

Great place to stay. Really nice location, the point of land with the lake on 3 sides. Well manicured landscaping. So quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Slept very well. Comfortable bed.

Location was a challenge, especially at night. Fairly rough road to get there. Not so bad in the daytime. The place is a bit dated but on the other hand, that makes it so unique and comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious. The location and wildlife exceptional. The staff were lovely.

I picked up and disposed of 4 plastic bottles from the beach inlets. I also picked up a plastic cup, 5 bottle caps and some napkins from the lawn . I would think that there should be a daily morning cleanup of the beaches and surrounds.

The facility is located in a beautiful place

I loved the grounds and all of the bird life. I also appreciated the very attentive staff. The food was made fresh (takes awhile) and very good.

It probably can’t be helped, but there were some ants crawling on the floor and there often wasn’t warm water. During the rainy season the road to Avocado Bay retreat is terrible.
