Hope Farm Guesthouse

A lovely quiet place to stay with an interesting history. The breakfast was fantastic and it was great having the fire going in the evening. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property and fantastic breakfast

Nothing to dislike

A lovely property full of character and just outside York. A spacious well furnished bedroom and a large lounge/ dining room in which to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - home made granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt, a full hot breakfast as well as home made bread, honey from the farm and other conserves. An interesting and extensive garden .

This place is an absolute gem! So happy to have found this place. Loved the super comfortable and inviting rooms, the big fireplace with a glass of wine in the evening. Saying hello to the chickens, sheep, and horses. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside and fabulous tasty breakfast in the morning. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. Love how they have brought the history of the place to life and learning about Dr Hope.

Fantastic breakfast - not too large. Featured local homemade produce - delicious. The setting was beautiful- heritage rooms tastefully decorated; beautiful bathroom; cosy shared lounge with a fantastic log fire; and lovely garden and farm to wander and enjoy

Absolutely loved the whole experience of staying here. Mike & Jo have a totally amazing guesthouse/and its their home so its like being a member of the family. The rooms are beautifully appointed, so comfortable and relaxing and breakfast was amazing. The history behind the Farm is truly amazing and so interesting. Its also nicely placed to explore York and the surrounding area and the many things to see.

Mike and Jo really have thought of all the small details to make your stay special! The property and surrounding area adds lots of charm. The breakfast provided was fantastic!
