2 bed apartment 5min from sea in bare Morecombe

The house was incredibly cozy, and the christmas decorations made the property feel so much like home.

The host was exceptional and really accommodating. Communication outstanding, which made check in very simple. Nice additional touches for a family staying over Christmas. Accommodation very clean and well equipped for things you would need for a 2-night stay. Parking on the street right outside the property, which being a corner plot had plenty of curbside. Located a short drive to the centre of Morecambe. Local aminities nearby. Good value for money for the area and a very quiet street made for a homely stay. No wifi - so focus on family time.

No seaview. Feature fireplaces were decorative only. Small step up into the kitchen and down the other side to reach the bathroom, so floors are not level for someone with mobility issues. Dining room lights - bulb shattered when first turned on, rather alarming to have glass everywhere on arrival; also very low hanging so bumped heads passing food across the table.

Very spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Ample parking and although the kitchen is compact, it had absolutely everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable and well-placed in a quiet residential area.

In fairness, it is advertised as having no WiFi and as we were only staying for 4 nights and very close to family, I didn't see that as a drawback. However, I wasn't able to use my data as the signal was too weak - also weak / no phone signal (I'm on O2) which made communications and planning difficult! If you're looking for a completely tech-free break, there's no negatives at all.

Everything was perfect! The property is even more beautiful in person! Perfect home from home!

Heating the apartment prior to our arrival especially as it had been so cold!
