Hillside Farm Barn Apartments

The apartment was lovely-Spotless-everything you needed was there. Nigel the host Was Lovely so accommodating if I'm ever staying in the area again id go back there Fantastic!

This property came up on Expedia and it's the kind of property i love to find if i can't book a hotel; i must say though this was the rarest one of all. It was a late booking and from the moment i made it the communication was so warm and welcoming, much more personal than a hotel. Nigel made contact with me to check when i would be arriving and went into the room to make sure the heating was one and it would be warm enough when i arrived. Upon arrival i was greeted by the son who made sure i knew everything about the room and assisted with the recommendation for an evening meal. The quality of the accommodation and the finishing touches with the fresh milk, Orange Juice and cereal made the perfect touches, with a simple request for more if you need them. It was quiet, luxurious and warm and i look forward to returning, especially once the weather improves. I cannot recommend this enough as a place to stay!!

The breakfast provided was exactly as explained within the booking details. Absolutely fine for us. The property is well designed and well equipped, has a very nice outlook. The bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet through the night. The location worked well for us with easy access to the A3 for the short journey to meet up with family.

Breakfast is basic, but sufficient for a short stay. Location ideal, close to major road routes but the property itself is in a lovely quiet setting. The apartment is modern and imaculately presented. Our host Nigel was most approachable and informative. Fully recommended

I suppose if we had been staying longer we would need to bring additional food items for breakfast. Possibly things like bread as there is a toaster provided in the apartment. However, there is a cafe a short distance away that does a breakfast menu.

Superb accommodation in a really quiet area and yet close to everything we needed.
