INIf you are looking for luxury in Dawson City - you won't really get it. But the Midnight Sun Hotel will offer clean, comfortable, warm rooms with an old world charm thrown in. The town by itself is tiny and any hotel you choose will be walkable to anywhere you need to go and this one ticks that box as well. The stairs are steep though and you need to be careful of that since you will need to haul your luggage up. All in all this hotel is a great place for a short stay and in any case you will want to spend most of your time outdoors in this beautiful little corner of the world, completely lost in time.
This is an old Hotel from the turn of the century but refurbished interior which is very nice and comfortable. I would recommend and stay there again.
What a lovely room! Super comfortable bed and pillows, nice facilities, easy check-in - almost perfect, except that they have Nespresso machines in the room rather than a regular coffee maker/kettle - as one of us drinks tea in the morning, and the other a large cup of coffee, that was disappointing, but definitely not a deal breaker. Check in is at the hotel around the corner - the Downtown Hotel (same company), and the room card opens the door to the lobby. Lovely seating area in the lobby/common area. We were only there for one night, and we arrived later in the evening so didn’t really get to enjoy what the hotel offers. It is central to the main attractions that you may want to do - Diamond Tooth Gertie’s and the Sourdough Saloon (which is actually in the hotel that you check into). 100% would recommend this to anyone.
Dawson city is unique. The hotel was clean and comfortable
Great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. A little bit of a hassle having to check into a different hotel for the key or ice or any issues, but that was fine as long as it wasn’t raining. No restaurant in the hotel but the upside was there weren’t a bunch of tourists.

The property was central within Dawson City. Guarantee Check in was 3. We arrived at 5 pm and our room wasn't ready, so the put us in a different room. I suspect a smaller room as it did not have the laptop desk as advertised. And the room was so small, there was no way they could fit a laptop desk and chair in the room. I brought this up at the front desk and someone was to connect with me and this didn't happen. We stayed two nights, and the cleaners did a very poor job cleaning our room. I think they only made our bed. Our coffee cups were not washed, etc.

Nice hotell, maybe best i town.!
Quick check in. Building does not look like much from the outside, but the lobby has been restored to look ok as if it stepped out of the late 1800s. The rooms are ultra modern and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Walking distance to all attractions and convenient parking right across the street. Highly recommend if visiting Dawson.
