Loud and noisy on a Wednesday night. The music from the lobby bar was way too loud and obnoxious. I booked a King but was given a room with 2 doubles. The room was very utilitarian. You can hear all the noise from the other rooms. It’s definitely not a place to rest or relax and you will not get a good night’s sleep. On the plus side I do like a Keurig for coffee. I needed it as I was up all night with other guests raucous behavior into the early am hours. Loud footsteps and laughter from the floor above nonstop all night long. I like this location but I won’t be back. I had read reviews with noise complaints at this hotel on Marriott.com and wish I had not overlooked. If you don’t plan on partying all night this hotel may not be a good choice. Too many other options to put up with this chaos.

The hotel was conveniently located where you could get to most Austin attractions within 15-20 minutes. The area was nice and had plenty if retail and dining options within 5 minutes. The parking garage was also free and had paid charges that came in handy for us. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad.

Aloft is a great hotel. Pool very nice, nice lobby and bar area. For Austin Texas the price is very good. It’s close to major expressways so you can get anywhere in Austin quickly. Highly recommend!

It has a beautiful walking/biking trail near by and we had a nice walk.
