Numero Uno Piñones Short Term Rental

Overall, great experience. Terrific hospitality, the rooms appear to have been recently upgraded and are very nice. Comfy bed, nice bathroom, good TV, cozy location a bit outside of San Juan. For those that have only ever been to San Juan, you may find the Pinones area a little more..quaint and humble, but there are some great casual restaurants nearby with excellent food. There is also a very nice boardwalk/path not far from the hotel with some causal (think beach shack) places to get a cheap, cold beer with beautiful ocean views. In general, very nice beaches near by. I also appreciated the free coffee and modest breakfast in the morning. Truly enjoyed my time here. The only downside was the noise. The walls of my room were a bit thin (to be expected with this type of building), but unfortunately I really wish I had brought my earplugs. Some of the noise was quite naturally pleasant (crickets, frogs in the distance at evening), some naturally quite unpleasant (roosters...all night long...), and some very unnaturally unpleasant (loud but effective AC, airplanes overhead). I would definitely stay again but bring earplugs next time. May not be for all light sleepers, but otherwise a wonderful stay!
