Transportation Information and Charges – Not included and payable additionally prior to arrival Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is located in Raa Atoll, in the northern part of Republic of Maldives. The resort is accessible either by seaplane or by domestic flight to the nearest airport, Ifuru (IFU), followed by a speedboat journey. Your transfers to and from Alila will be booked by the resort based on your international arrival/departure flight timings. All guests are requested to share the names of all accompanying guests, including children, as they appear in your passports together with your international flight details at least 7 days prior to arrival in order to ensure a smooth and timely transfer. The return airport transfer fees are USD 670 per adult and USD 400 per child aged 2-11 years. Infants (age below 2 years) can travel on a complimentary basis, seated on an adult’s lap. The Resort reserves the right to revise the rates in case of a government mandate to increase GST tax or change in fuel cost. Seaplane Travel Important Notes •Seaplanes are operational only during daytime (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM) as per Maldivian aviation regulations and subject to weather condition and maintenance needs •The seaplane check-in counter closes one hour before departure •Guests arriving on flights at around 3:00 PM are required to be at the check-in counter by 4:00 PM in order to guarantee transfers on the same day •Guests departing on international flights earlier than 9:00 AM may require check-out one day before the date of departure and stay overnight in Malé (at own cost) to reach the airport on time •In situations where there is no connection available between international flights and seaplane schedules, guests will need to stay in Malé (city) at their own cost and travel the next day subject to available transportation Green Tax for children Please note that a Green Tax of USD 12 per child (age 2years and above), per night is applicable additionally. Due to safety and privacy concerns, the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making the payment at the hotel.
