Berkshires Untold

The owners did a wonderful job converting this obviously standard motel with rooms that are entered from the outdoors.The lobby/restaurant area was beautiful and comfortable. The outside terrace area was also well appointed but unusable on the lovely evening we were there because the cushions were wet from a recent rainstorm. Too bad. I did not see an elevator so ask for a first floor room if stairs are a problem for you.

The lobby/library, restaurant/bar and outdoor seating areas are stunning. Beautiful, tasteful. . . I wanted to lounge all day there. Much nicer than the more expensive chains!

Rooms are a clean and upgraded motel. Nice lobby and rooms.

It was a last minute reservation for us and how thankful to land here. Beautiful, hip, super friendly clean. Gorgeous fire pits if you want to sit outside and the restaurant inside was terrific. Definitely coming back. And the rooms were cosy modern clean comfy beds!!

Fantastik Room

Correction from earlier comment. Found the tissue. Best bed and pillows especially. Highly recommend. I think the staff is very helpful

I was told they don't do any Expedia VIP recognition and Expedia shouldn't have mentioned that to me because they should know better. It's a glorified motel. That being said, the room was nice with updated decor. Surprising cost-savings efforts on their part - no coffee maker or phone in the room. Didn't bother eating there. $7.50 for a hard-boiled egg?

I would recommend that Untold consider upgrading their sign on the lawn so that it can be better seen from down the road. I was disappointed that there was no available microwave to use. The three nights 4 days visit our room was never touched by room service. I couldn’t find any info on line about room service, ie fresh towels, beds made.
