I love the whole ethos of The Bull - everything is very considered which is very refreshing. The food was honestly amazing. Probably the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Love that there’s a communal cupboard where you can borrow an iron, or grab any top ups for your room. The staff were also incredibly helpful, allowing me to store some medication in their fridges as there wasn’t a fridge in the room.

For me, the pillows were pretty uncomfortable- just quite hard and lumpy, so that was a shame. Another slight downside was there are no fridges in the rooms. I totally get it, as it’s just added energy to run them - luckily the staff helped me with storing some medication that needed to be kept cold (huge thanks again for that). We stayed in room 9 for 2/nights which did get quite hot, and room 8 for the third night, which did get quite cold in contrast. But not a huge issue.

Poorly maintained guttering outside room leaking onto corrugated sheeting below was a a bit a noisy when it rained

Location is great. Rooms were minimalistic and comfy. The room was dog friendly. Food was really tasty and felt very healthy.

Some staff were exceptional and really welcoming and engaged. Some staff were not.
