The Bull Inn

Excellent location, lovely homely room and decor with thoughtful touches, excellent restaurant downstairs with a well considered and sourced menu. Good ethical and sustainability practices were clearly at the forefront of their concept and I felt that very positive and inspiring.

It was necessary to use earplugs due to people in the square outside until very late so next time I shall request a room facing a different way.

The breakfasts were amazing and worth getting out of bed for. The food generally was exceptional!

Great ambiance in the pub/hotel & very friendly, helpful staff. Loved the decor of the rooms - reclaimed furniture, antiques & locally sourced tiles, flooring etc. Loved the simple, yet elegant style e.g. the lime plastered walls. The bed was super comfy! Liked the tea making facilities - choice of loose leaf teas to use with compostable tea bags. A lot of thought has gone into everything about this hotel.

Good food. Good location. Friendly staff. Delightful town.

Our room was never made up. Very little space to hang clothes.
