Nereida

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa na Horta. A localização é simplesmente perfeita, mesmo em frente à Marina, com janelas enormes que oferecem uma vista panorâmica lindíssima sobre o porto e a ilha do Pico – um daqueles cenários de que nunca nos cansámos. O apartamento estava impecavelmente limpo. A kitchenette é pequena, mas muito funcional e equipada com tudo o que precisámos. Adorámos também a decoração, cheia de pormenores inspirados no mar, com sereias e animais marinhos esculpidos em madeira, que lhe dão um carácter muito especial. Os anfitriões foram extraordinários: extremamente simpáticos, disponíveis e atentos, prestando um serviço muito acima do esperado. Viajámos com o nosso filho de 5 anos e sentimo-nos sempre muito bem acolhidos. Foi a base perfeita para explorar o Faial. Recomendaríamos sem hesitar e voltaríamos com todo o gosto.

The accomodation was perfect, with a very good location and comfort and with an awesome view. The owner was top, asking if everything is ok and if we need any additonal help. I would highly recommend this accomodation 😊

Had to climb three flights of stairs - no mention of stairs in listing - mattress was not comfortable

Cozy suite with an amazing sea view and lots of great features. Comfortable bed. Large enclosed shower with plenty of hot water, good pressure, a free-flowing drain and handy shower gel/shampoo dispensers. Lots of towels. Very well equipped kitchen and a superb washing machine (one of the best we’ve ever encountered in our travels). The suite had a heating and A/C unit (many places in the Azores don’t). We were on the third floor and were able to enter the top of the house directly from an upper street which was very convenient vis-a-vis luggage. Amazing location in the heart of Horta, just steps from restaurants, shops and major sights. Excellent communication with the Nereida Team via WhatsApp — they were always very responsive and helpful. This is truly an excellent place to stay.

The bed pillows were a little too high and firm. Other than this minor issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely return and highly recommend this property to other travelers.
