Apartments at Mission Beach

Location was perfect for our stay.

Pool being out of order. Property being a little run down needing to be referbished. Cleanliness, ants present in room.

We stayed here for three nights with my husband and two sons. The apartment is well located for the beach, shops and restaurants. There has been some effort to improve the apartment with the kitchen and bathroom looking relatively recently renovated. Weirdly, in the second bedroom, there are lamps attached to the wall either side of the bed but they don't work because they are not plugged in - there isn't a single powerpoint in that room! I found the apartment quite dark and not a really lovely place to stay during the day as there was also no view of any kind. Unfortunately, during our stay, the pool was under maintenance, otherwise, I would have spent time during the day sitting poolside. The bed in the main bedroom could do with a new mattress. It sagged heavily in to the middle which made sleeping difficult. A new mattress would increase my rating.

It was a great size for our 8 night stay, the bathroom was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. It was relatively close to Mission Beach town centre.

There was an issue with the external sensor light which caused some disturbance at night.

The pool could not be used. We would have appreciated being informed about its unavailability. Additionally, the common barbecue was very dirty (greasy with pieces of meat/stuff stuck to it). I understand that it is up to the users to clean it. However, the company should pay attention to the fact that is is cleaned. Beans at the front were also full of trash.
