Our stay was excellent in every way and Mal couldn’t have been more hospitable. His breakfast was delicious, the bed very comfortable and the room well furnished. The area is quiet, perfect for a good night’s sleep.

Mal was a great host at breakfast and little extras in the room such as a mini fridge with water and a pint of milk were great

This was a very comfortable place to stay with lots of extra touches such as fresh flowers, chocolates, biscuits and chilled bottles of water. The fridge in the room was very welcome. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and really set me up for the day. It was ideally located for visiting York, with the park and ride only approx 10 miles away. No issues with parking and location was very peaceful.

Very Clean , tea , coffee, a pint of milk in the fridge with 3 bottles of water, chocolates and biscuits, comfortable bed, towels and shower gel etc, off street parking, excellent breakfast, very friendly owner.

Mal was a fantastic host, very helpful & friendly. He even gave us a few lifts whilst we stayed! We would return if in the area again.
