Mel made us extremely welcome on arrival. The room was lovely with so many little extras including a small fridge. The breakfast was cooked while we waited and was beautiful. Can't wait to go back.

"Great place and lovely guy"

Its location was just off a country road, but wasn't hard to find , got a warm welcome from mal and the facilities were clean and well kept, the room was a fair size with a full free view channels, the bed was clean and there was extra pillows and a small wardrobe to hang your clothes... the breakfast was nice and we got given a of time slot for breakfast, got a good verity of choice for it. The room was warm and well decorated... would definitely stay over again and recommend hillcrorft B@B to everyone

There was a slight trickling nose in bathroom, caused by toilet running constantly, wasn't loud but it noticeable ...

"A relaxing stay in a lovely location with a brilliant host."

map was a fabulous host and his breakfasts were brilliant. Also, the little touches such as the biscuits and the jar of coffee made a difference. The local pub being a 2 minute walk away was another plus!!

stairs a bit steep for my mobility impaired wife.
